The Book of Revelation promises a blessing to those who read it. One of the main reasons for the blessing is that it reveals Jesus in His mighty and majestic state. When we read the gospels, we see Jesus living and functioning in a human body for about 33 years as the Son of Man. However, scripture tells us that He had no beginning and no end. No other book of the Bible shows us a clearer picture of Christ in all of His glory as the Son of God! Here are some of Heaven’s greatest recorded songs about the Lamb:

An intimate glimpse into the Throne Room - (Rev. 4:1-11):

8b “Holy. Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.”

11 “You are worthy, our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Oh...the Lamb... (Rev. 5:8-14):

9 You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.

12 In a loud voice they sang: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”

13b “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”

14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

The Song of Salvation - (Rev. 7:9-17):

10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the
throne, and to the Lamb.”

12 They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

The Hymn of Victory – (Rev. 11:15):

15b “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ,
and He will reign for ever and ever.”

The Song of Moses - (Rev. 15:2-8):

3b “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. 4 Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

The Bride and her King - (Rev. 19:1-17):

7 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

16b King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

One Voice - (Rev. 22:17):

17a The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!”

The Hymns of Revelation give us a deposit of faith for every situation and for every suffering Christian. I pray that God blesses your journey in singing and praying these eternal songs. Bob Perry
